NHL Trade Simulator

Build both sides of a trade from players and draft picks, and see how the expected value of each side plays out season by season. Values are in GAR (Goals Above Replacement) on an 84-game basis: players use their rest-of-career projection, picks use the draft-value model. Picks align to the calendar by draft year, so a pick contributes 0 until it is drafted. To value a prospect who hasn’t reached the NHL yet, add the pick that was used on him (draft years go back 5 drafts). Skaters only for now — goalie support is coming.
